Entering from Cape Cod Bay, there’s a safe water buoy with about 20’ of water at low tide, and then a lit channel that shifts as boats run aground. So it’s best to either enter away from low tide, or carefully start at the safe water buoy and proceed step by step to the next buoy you see. Entering near low tide, the channel feels very close to the beach.
